I thought I’d taken a full-view photo of the playmat for my own records, but since I was drawing it right up until the last minute before leaving, I guess I forgot… Oh dear… You can check it out on the BIG MAGIC page linked below.

I won’t be attending the autograph session this time, but I’m considering offering some items for consignment if I can get them ready in time, so please allow me to update you on that later.

The final volume (Volume 6) of Regened Lore of the Merchants from Babelheim is available on e-book platforms starting today.

This marks the end of a four-year journey for this series, and nine years since I first began working on the original version. I am truly grateful for your long and steady support.

Remaking the series as Regened Lore was often more challenging than creating a completely new work from scratch. I was only able to cross the finish line thanks to the behind-the-scenes support of my past editors and staff, and above all, the readers who stayed with me. My primary motivation was the constant thought that I couldn’t let it end prematurely and let my readers down. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Regarding my next project—while I have been brainstorming and meeting with editors during the weeks without Regened Lore updates, I am still struggling to bring a new story to life. I will continue to work hard so that I can share good news with you as soon as possible.

I’ve occasionally seen comments from people saying, “I’ll wait for the physical paperback!” and while I’d love to say “Me too!”, please be aware that this release is digital-only. I appreciate your understanding.

If a major miracle happens and some new commercial opportunity arises, a physical edition might become a reality—but as of now, there are no such plans. The only way to get the book is in digital format. I know some of you may not be used to e-books, but I would truly appreciate your support there. Please note that any physical books currently available are the original version, not the remake.

Regarding the epilogue of the final chapter (the part with Mephisto)—some have asked if it was cut for Regened Lore. It was originally placed in the “Choi-tashi” (bonus) section on the MangaONE app, but it is included in the e-book volume (digital-only) with some additional touch-ups.

Back in 2016, I had the honor of illustrating the manga adaptation of Sound Horizon’s song “Shokumotsu ga Tsuranaru Sekai” (The World Where Food Chains Connect).

Thanks to that connection, I was invited to illustrate the November page for the official site’s digital calendar.

Sound Horizon / Linked Horizon / Revo Official Mobile Site

I’ve secured a spot for Super Comic City on May 3rd, focusing on Persona 2.

While I’d love to do a lot of things with books, I’ll likely be busy adjusting my schedule for the final chapter of Babelheim around that time. So, my top priority for now is creating “the merchandise I wish existed back then.” Since these are physical items, they will unfortunately be venue-exclusive.

If I manage to release a new book, I will definitely make it available for mail order. (But that’s a big “if”—it’s not confirmed yet. It might end up being just one type of acrylic stand at the venue, and that’s it.)

“Chaldea Ace Vol. 2” is out tomorrow.
I had the pleasure of drawing a manga featuring Assassin of Shinjuku and the female protagonist.

With permission from the writer and the official team, I have included Assassin of Shinjuku’s True Name in the story. My sincere thanks to them for allowing this.

The opening scene where the protagonist wakes up is inspired by the area just before Kabukicho, on the east side of the overpass. If I remember correctly, that’s around where I “found” Assassin of Shinjuku in the AR feature released at the same time, so I chose that as the starting point. The rest of the backgrounds are mostly fictional.

I’ve been nervous about this project ever since I first received the offer, so I’m relieved it’s finally reaching everyone. I just hope as many people as possible enjoy it.

And the “remains” in the photo below are from when I tried to build a model of Assassin’s gauntlet for reference, but eventually gave up.
